Getting Started

Welcome to VeriSwap! This guide will help you navigate the platform and make your first currency swap.

1. Create Your Account

Visit the registration page and fill in your details: full name, email, phone number, nationality, city in Russia, and a username. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to complete registration.

2. Complete KYC Verification

Before you can post or accept swaps, you must verify your identity:

• Passport — Upload a clear photo of your passport's identity page.
• Student ID — Upload your valid student ID card (or alternative secondary document).

An admin will review your documents. You'll receive a notification once approved.

3. Browse the Swap Board

The Swap Board shows all active currency exchange listings. Use the filters to narrow results by:

• Direction (Send To / Receive From)
• Currency and amount range
• Transfer method (Cash, Ecocash, Innbucks, Mukuru, SBP)
• User trust score

4. Create a Swap

Click "Create Swap" on the dashboard. Specify the currency you're sending, the currency you want to receive, the amount, and your preferred transfer method. Your listing will appear on the Swap Board for others to fulfill.

5. Fulfill a Swap

Found a listing that matches your needs? Click into it and enter the amount you'd like to exchange. VeriSwap supports partial fulfillment — you can commit to part of a listing.

6. Pay the Service Fee

Both parties must pay a small service fee via SBP to VeriSwap admin accounts. Upload your payment receipt — it will be verified automatically via OCR, or manually by an admin if needed.

7. The Digital Handshake

Once fees are verified, the swap proceeds in 3 steps:

1. Sender clicks "Sent" — A countdown timer begins.
2. Receiver clicks "Received" — Confirms the funds arrived.
3. Transaction completes! — Both parties can leave reviews.

If the timer expires before confirmation, the chat is frozen and an admin is alerted.

8. Chat with Your Partner

Once fees are verified, a private chat channel opens between you and your swap partner. Use it to coordinate transfer details. Remember: never share sensitive account credentials.

9. Trust Score & Reviews

After each transaction, you'll be asked to rate your partner (1–5 stars). Your cumulative score is displayed publicly to help others make informed decisions.

10. Referrals

Share your unique referral code with friends. When they sign up and complete their first swap, both of you earn credit toward future service fees!
